The moment came amid repeated barrage of questions by the opposition parties regarding the construction of AIIMS in village Majra, Rewari, when the government duly announced its foundation stone. The importance of this project can be estimated from the fact that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is coming to Rewari on September 23 to lay its foundation stone. The people of the area are very happy when the date of the foundation stone of the 22nd AIIMS of the country is announced.
DC Rahul Hooda on Monday held a meeting of officials regarding the preparations for the foundation stone ceremony of AIIMS. He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has proposed a program to lay the foundation stone of AIIMS in Rewari on September 23. In view of the programme, he asked to ensure timely arrangements for road repair, drainage system cleaning, drinking water, construction of helipad, repair of the road leading from the helipad to the venue etc. SP Deepak Saharan and ADC Swapril Ravindra Patil were also present in the meeting.
