Not only this, along with Majra’s joining, Abhay also announced the appointment of him as the new state president of the party. The post of Pradhan was vacant after the murder of INLD state president Nafe Singh Rathi.

After leaving INLD, Majra joined BJP, but he did not feel like staying there for long. After leaving BJP, he did not join any other party. There were also discussions about him contesting the Lok Sabha elections from Kurukshetra, but Abhay Chautala himself has entered the electoral battle from here. On this occasion, Abhay said, ever since INLD was established, Rampal Majra had worked for Ch. Devi Lal and Ch. Together with Omprakash Chautala, he worked to strengthen the party with full dedication and devotion. Rampal Majra has always been fond of INLD. Rampal Majra was inactive for some time, but has now come back with INLD to strengthen the party.

Never moved away from INLD: Majra

On getting the new responsibility of State President, Rampal Majra said that some differences occur in the family, but he never moved away from INLD party. They are Ch. Devi Lal has also been involved in Justice War and against Rajeev Longowal Agreement. Ch. Devilal brought majority in 1982 but his government was not allowed to be formed. Even then we held a big demonstration in Chandigarh. Abhay Chautala supported the farmers’ movement against the three black agricultural laws under the chairmanship of former state president Nafe Singh Rathi and he had tendered his resignation. After that I also left BJP and supported them. Today the BJP government makes tall claims of providing jobs on the basis of transparency and doubling the income of farmers. But the independent MLA of Pundri, who supports the government, gives bribe to his son to get a job.

Anil Vij should leave the party: Abhay

On changing the Chief Minister by BJP, Abhay said, the former Chief Minister had claimed that he was purchasing 14 crops on MSP. Contrary to their claims, today farmers are getting Rs 700-750 less than the MSP for selling mustard crops. First of all, Chief Minister Nayab Saini should buy mustard crop of farmers at MSP. He said that there is a lot of resentment among the people along with Anil Vij and BJP MLAs and independent MLAs with the new cabinet. Anil Vij should have left the party by now. Looking at them it seems that they do not want to tolerate this government even for a single day. The Chief Minister should have said on the very first day that he will work on law and order. Saini cannot believe that he has become the Chief Minister and he is still addressing the former Chief Minister as Chief Minister.
