The 58th Martyrdom Day of immortal martyr Ranveer Kadian of the 7th Jat Regiment of the Indian Army was celebrated on Saturday in the premises of Arya Bal Bharti School, Panipat. Ranveer Kadian of village Siwah of Panipat was martyred in the Indo-Pak war of September 9, 1965. Ex-servicemen from various districts of the state were honored in the Martyr’s Day ceremony. The chief guest in the program was Seth Radhakrishna Arya, President of Arya Pratinidhi Sabha Rohtak. Rajveer Sharma, member of Delhi Minority Commission and former president of District Sainik Welfare Organization, Prakashwati Arya, Veermati Arya and head of Arya Kanya School Sumitra Ahlawat were present as special guests. Special guests were social workers Rajshree Arya Panchkula, Sheela Arya and Bharato Devi Karnal. The function was presided over by Arya School Principal Virendra Padha. School’s Vice Principal Ravi Ahlawat, Manager Jasvir Gwalada, Rampal Israna and Principal Manish Arya were present as keynote speakers. At the inauguration of the program, Sarpanch of village Siwah, Sunita Arya, Seth Radha Krishna Arya and school head Randeep Kadian made full offerings in the yagya. On behalf of the Haryana Ex-Servicemen Organization, Ranbir Kadian was posthumously honored with the title of Arya Veer Ratna and his son Randeep Arya. Seth Radhakrishna Arya honored ex-servicemen from various districts of Haryana. School head Randeep Arya welcomed all the guests and Principal Satyavan Malik expressed his gratitude to everyone. Ranveer Singh was posted as a rifle man in the 7th Jat Regiment of the Army and he attained martyrdom while fighting in the war at the age of only 22.
