The government of Imran Khan has fallen in Pakistan and today Pakistan is going to get a new Prime Minister. But in the meantime, a crowd of supporters of Imran Khan has gathered on the streets of Karachi to Lahore. Millions of Imran’s supporters are protesting. A similar rally was also seen in Rawalpindi where many people were raising slogans of ‘Chowkidar Chor Hai’.

Let us inform that the political turmoil in Pakistan which has been going on for almost a month took a new turn on Sunday night. A vote of no confidence was held in the Parliament of Pakistan against the government of Imran Khan and the government fell. A total of 174 MPs voted against Imran Khan, which is 2 more than the majority.

After which the supporters of Imran came out on the streets of Pakistan.

‘Chowkidar Chor Hai’

A rally took place in Rawalpindi in the area of Awami Muslim League President and former minister Sheikh Rashid, when Sheikh Rashid was addressing the rally, the crowd started raising slogans of ‘Chowkidar Chor Hai’.

However, Sheikh Rashid appealed to the people not to raise such slogans.

Let us tell you that such slogans were raised for the first time in India in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections by Congress leader Rahul Gandhi. Rahul Gandhi had given the slogan ‘Chowkidar Chor Hai’, accusing PM Modi of wrongdoing in the Rafale fighter plane deal. At present, these slogans are being raised against the army for allegedly stealing the mandate of Imran Khan in Pakistan.

On the other hand, Imran Khan has also tweeted a video of his supporters. Imran Khan said, “Never have such crowds come out so spontaneously and in such numbers in our history, rejecting the imported govt led by crooks.”

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is demonstrating in different cities of Pakistan in support of Imran.

Let us inform that after the removal of Imran Khan from the post of Prime Minister, nomination papers have been filed for the election of PM. Leader of Opposition Shahbaz Sharif has filed nomination papers as PM candidate.
