The captain admitted his mistake, the one who made him sit for 2 years created terror with his speed as soon as he arrived

New Delhi. Currently, the name of a young player is on everyone’s lips in the Indian Premier League. Only 21 year old fast bowler Mayank Yadav has stunned big batsmen with his stormy ball. The youngster won the Player of the Match award first against Punjab Kings and now against Royal Challengers Bangalore. Amazing thing is that captain KL Rahul admitted that we kept him sitting for the last two seasons.

Batting first against Royal Challengers Bangalore, Lucknow Super Giants scored 181 runs on the basis of Quinton de Kock’s fifty. After this, Bangalore was reduced to 153 runs on the basis of 3 wickets of young fast bowler Mayank Yadav. The 21-year-old made his IPL debut against Punjab Kings and won the second player of the match by bowling brilliantly for the second consecutive match.

KL Rahul said after the match that we kept this fast bowler for two consecutive years. In the year 2022, Lucknow Super Giants included him in the team by paying a price of Rs 20 lakh. He was with the team for the last two seasons but did not get to play any matches. Mayank had taken 3 wickets for 27 runs in 4 overs in the last match. Took 3 wickets for 14 runs in 4 overs against Bangalore.

KL said- The way Mayank used the wicket is important. The most important thing is to remain calm and this young man has done this. When he did not get a chance in the last two seasons, he worked hard and waited for his turn. It is very nice to see the way Mayank is bowling. He has remained extremely patient in the last few years, which reflects his character as a professional player.
