Microsoft has indicated in the Xbox apps the games that will leave Game Pass at the end of September (via Idle Sloth on Twitter).
This month the service receives notable games such as Starfield, Lies of P or Solar Ash, but before knowing the second batch of additions we have known which titles we should play before their release on October 1.
Among them is the immersive sim Weird West, from the new studio by Raphael Colantonio (Dishonored). Here you can read our analysis: “Returning to the formula of classic RPGs like Ultima, Weird West stands out as an immersive sim, although not as much as an RPG.”
People Can Fly’s looter-shooter Outriders (Bullestorm) will also disappear from the service. Here you can read our analysis: “it has good ideas and is entertaining, but it is difficult for it to stand out because it is not clear about what it wants to be.”
The retro FPS Prodeus entered the selection of our favorite games of 2022 that you probably haven’t played: “it still combines modernity and classicism in equal parts.”
Among the rest of the titles we have the soulslike metroidvania Moonscars, the mysterious adventure Beacon Pines, the strategic roguelike Despot’s Game, the programming and automation game SHENZHEN I/O and the puzzle game compilation Last Call BBS, the latest game from Zachtronics.
These are the games that will leave Game Pass on October 1:
- Weird West (PC and console)
- Moonscars (PC and console)
- Outriders (PC and console)
- Beacon Pins (PC and console)
- Despot’s Game (PC and console)
- Prodeus (PC and console)
