The stock market rose for the second consecutive day, Sensex jumped 934 points

Domestic stock markets rose for the second consecutive day on Tuesday and the BSE Sensex closed with a jump of 934 points. The market rose with buying in Reliance Industries and IT companies amid a positive trend in global markets. The 30-share BSE Sensex closed at 52,532.07, up 934.23 points, or 1.81 per cent. The benchmark index had climbed up to 1,201.56 points during trading. Similarly, the Nifty of the National Stock Exchange also closed at 15,638.80 with a gain of 288.65 points or 1.88 percent. Titan, SBI, TCS, HCL Technologies, Dr Reddy’s, Tata Steel, Wipro, Infosys, ITC and Tech Mahindra were the main gainers in Sensex stocks. On the other hand, only Nestle India shares closed with a slight decline. In other Asian markets, Japan’s Nikkei, South Korea’s Kospi and Hong Kong’s Hang Seng indices ended with gains while China’s Shanghai Composite closed lower. There was a sharp trend in the afternoon trading in the European markets. While the US stock markets had a holiday on Monday.

Meanwhile, international oil benchmark Brent crude rose 1.57 percent to $115.9 a barrel. According to the stock market data, the process of withdrawal of foreign institutional investors from the capital market is going on. He sold shares worth Rs 1,217.12 crore on Monday.
