The final chapter of the Monkey Island adventure for Sea of Thieves will be released next week.
Rare has announced that The Lair of LeChuck, the third episode, will be available starting next Thursday, September 28, leaving the way clear for the tenth season of the pirate game to begin on October 19.
In this episode we will finally visit Monkey Island, from its jungle to the lava caves, closing the story arc that began last July and that took us to Mêlée Island to relive the settings of the legendary LucasArts graphic adventure.
The Microsoft-owned studio has also revealed that a new community weekend will be held between September 30 and October 2, with boosts in gold, reputation and more, something that will be quite useful for those who have not yet Completed the Season 9 Battle Pass.
Sea of Thieves is available exclusively for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One and PC, being included in the catalog of Microsoft’s Xbox Game Pass subscription service.
