Playism has announced PlayStation console versions of Touhou Luna Nights.
This 2D metroidvania with hints of bullet hell is the work of Team Ladybug, the studio responsible for Record of Lodoss War: Deedlit in Wonder Labyrinth.
It was originally released on PC in 2019 after an early access period, followed by the arrival of Xbox One and Switch versions.
It is based on the Touhou Project, a universe that orbits around a series of bullet hells initially developed alone by Jun’ya Ōta and which has expanded thanks to its creator’s openness to the existence of fan-games and other derivative works.
Here you can read our review of Record of Lodoss War: Deedlit in Wonder Labyrinth: “With a superb setting and excellent ideas, the game only fails to exploit everything it wants to do.”
Touhou Luna Nights will be released on Thursday, January 25, 2024 on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. It is now available on PC, Switch, and Xbox One.
