In Marrakech, 27 people have died so far and another four deaths have been confirmed in Ouarzazate. The reports of more deaths arise from different areas of Morocco.
In numerous videos on social networks you can see people in squares feeling the earthquake. In others you can see people running to safety and in the most recent ones people walking through the streets full of rubble to help their friends and neighbors.
Al-Arabiya reported that people trapped by the earthquake in the Sidi Ibrahim area are asking the authorities for help.
The Mexican embassy in Morocco has already alerted its compatriots through the social network X:
