These two Galaxy smartphones are getting an interesting camera update

Samsung is releasing its Camera Assistant application on two mid-range smartphones, the Galaxy A53 and A54.

If you don’t know Samsung’s Camera Assistant application, you should know that it allows you to access many interesting options on your Galaxy smartphone. It allows you to more or less personalize the use of your camera. We can pell-mell choose to deactivate automatic HDR, softening of the contours and textures of photos, choose if we want the phone to choose the lens used for us, adjust the shutter speed, capture and many other nice little options.

Unsurprisingly, this application, downloadable from the Galaxy Store, was currently exclusive to the Korean manufacturer’s most high-end smartphones such as the Galaxy S23. Sam Mobile tells us that from now on, two more mid-range models, but particularly pampered by the manufacturer, will be able to access it.

Galaxy A53 and A54 access Camera Assistant

With the arrival of One UI 6.0 (Android 14), Galaxy A53 and A54 will be able to benefit from it in turn. If these are not strictly speaking photophones, meaning that these smartphones shine more for their very good value for money rather than the quality of their photos, it is still a nice addition. This confirms the care taken in these smartphones, a sort of crowning achievement for the mid-range at Samsung. The Samsung Galaxy A73, not distributed in France, also benefits from this.
