Juarez City.- A man was arrested by state police when he had just violently stolen a vehicle, the state corporation reported.
After the call from the victim who reported the theft, the security elements deployed a search operation, coordinated through the use of the Centinela platform, so they located the vehicle in the streets of the Infonavit Tecnológico neighborhood, where they finally caught up with the alleged responsible.
At the scene, the agents arrested José Guadalupe MC, 25 years old, for the alleged crime of possession of a vehicle with a previous report of theft, violation of the federal law on firearms and explosives, as well as his alleged participation in the crime of qualified robbery.
A 30-caliber rifle-type firearm was seized from the detainee, as well as the vehicle of the complaint, a Kia Rio, red and recent model.
The detainee, as well as the seized objects, were placed at the disposal of the State Attorney General’s Office (FGE), to continue the investigation.
