Although visits by teachers to companies have already been made in the past, he added that the event grew so much with the support of business organizations and universities that are part of the Liaison Council, that it was now held for 300 students and teachers.
He explained that during the tour the companies talk about their processes, but they also share what they expect from collaborators, in addition to knowledge and technical skills, also about “soft skills.”
Students and teachers were gathered at the facilities of the Instituto Tecnológico de Monterrey (ITESM) Campus Saltillo, from where they left in trucks to the companies that would be visited.
The director of the ITESM Campus Saltillo, Adrián Fernando González Zambrano, as well as the rector of Universidad Carolina, Emmanuel Garza Fishburn, among others, participated in the event.
