Around 1,200 vehicles with expired license plates were detected during the inspection operations led by the Coahuila Civil Police (PCC) with the support of the Revenue Collection, and whose actions conclude this Wednesday.
Of that number, only 180 owners are waiting to answer the call and the others have already come to catch up.
The head of the Revenue Collection in Torreón, Leticia Castaño Orozco, reported that the operations were carried out throughout the month, and were led by the PCC after vehicles with overlapping license plates began to be detected in other municipalities of the state.
“The indication was to extend surveillance in all municipalities, we supported the inspections that also served to detect those who were traveling with expired license plates,” he indicated.
