During this year, the state of Coahuila has generated more employment than 13 states in the country, according to the records of formal jobs provided by the Mexican Institute of Social Security (IMSS).
Coahuila generated 6,376 formal jobs compared to the previous month and at the national level 111,736 were generated, which is equivalent to 5.71 percent. With this, job creation in the first eight months of the year amounts to 39,259, the best year of the entire current state administration.
As of August 2023, 83,737 jobs have been generated, above those lost during the Covid-10 pandemic. Coahuila ranks sixth nationally in jobs generated during the current year.
The entity continues to remain among the first states with the most formal jobs.
