Torreón and Parras are promoted as destinations in the Mexico Tourist Tianguis 2023

The presentation of the destination of Torreón and the Magic Town of Parras de la Fuente in hydro-warm lands was carried out.

Emphasis was placed on the attractions and opportunities of both destinations, promoting an exchange of information that boosts tourism between both regions, highlighting unique destinations and attractions, thus generating a positive synergy in cross promotion.

On the part of the Laguna Region, Torreón was presented as a tourist destination, in which mention was made of the Cable Car, Puerto Noas, its museums and its gastronomy, the Corona Stadium, among others, as well as its main events, highlighting the next Solar Eclipse Total, of which Torreón will be an important venue, the Coahuila 1000 Rally, the Lala Marathon, among others.

Result of the strategic alliance established by the Secretary of Tourism and Development of Magical Towns of Coahuila, Azucena Ramos Ramos, with her counterpart from Aguascalientes, María Gloria Romo Cuesta, this presentation was made at the Mexico 2023 Tourism Tianguis.

María Eugenia Villarreal Abusaid, Undersecretary of Tourism, considered that thanks to the fact that security has been made a priority issue, More and more tourists and walkers come to Coahuila.

Luis Téllez Montes, director of Tourism in the Municipality of Torreón, also attended; Olga Lara Rodríguez, president of the Convention and Visitors Bureau (OCV) of Parras, and Emilio Campo, of the Association of Tour Operators of Coahuila, as well as Eduardo Benítez, of Plata Coahuila 925, Ivone Villarreal and Ana Claudia Arteaga Bollaingoytia, both of the Artisans of Parras.

Lara Rodríguez was in charge of presenting the Magic Town of Parras de la Fuente, which stands out for its wines and various vineyards, and both cities for their gastronomy, so they are places to enjoy with friends or family.

The visit to Aguascalientes was made with the objective of promoting both entities and the presentation was aimed especially at tour operators, who are in charge of reaching the tourist.

“Both destinations benefit from the promotion, as commercial exchanges will be generated”highlighted Villarreal Abusaid.
