TVS, one of the big two-wheeler companies, has announced to organize the country’s first electric motorcycle racing. It will be called TVS Racing Electric One Make Championship. It will launch along with the 4th Indian National Motorcycle Road Racing Championship (INMRC).

For this, TVS has prepared special Apache RTE motorcycles. Eight riders will participate in the first round of this championship with TVS Apache RTE motorcycles. TVS says that the Apache RTE will set a benchmark in racing electric motorcycles. This motorcycle of the company has the highest power-to-weight ratio in this segment. It has a liquid-cooled motor and a high-efficiency liquid-cooled motor controller. In this the company has used high-power battery cells with advanced chemistry. Its battery case is made of carbon fiber.

It has a 320 mm disc for braking at the front. The callipers for this have been taken from Brembo. The TVS Apache RTE comes with Pirelli Super Corsa tyres.
