“Hello! I’m Luzia, your intelligent personal assistant. “I’m here to help you with whatever you need,” says the new WhatsApp application that promises to be a milestone in remote communications, in other languages and to execute various online tasks.
The application that has been incorporated into the user experience in recent months claims to provide travel information, entertainment plans, draw and transcribe voice notes.
AI (Artificial Intelligence) has become one of the most helpful elements in the daily activities of human beings. Its boost in efficiency and comfort has allowed everything from simplifying arithmetic operations to executing an action through a voice command.
Such is the case of Siri and Google Assistant, virtual assistants that allow users to interact to simplify tasks on the Internet and even in instant messaging applications or through social networks.
What is LuzIA?
It’s a bot which operates similar to other artificial intelligences such as ChatGPT. This is a WhatsApp contact that works with the LLM (Large Language Models) method to provide answers and solutions in Spanish.
Like all AIs, LuzIA also feeds on other websites and files on our device to improve its application.
What is LuzIA for?
According to the developers of the company Meta, owned by Mark Zuckerberg, LuzIA has the ability to perform the following tasks:
- Translate texts in any language
- Create custom images
- Transcribe audios to texts
- Start conversations with any contact in your phonebook
- Resolve doubts about the WhatsApp operation
- Consult other information (travel, entertainment, fashion or other advice)
How to use?
To find out if the tool is available in your country, all you have to do is visit the site www.luzia.com and select the “Talk to LuzIA” option. Once the page redirects you to the WhatsApp application, the artificial intelligence will answer once you start the conversation:
If you want to start a conversation with the AI, it will answer you. In an exercise carried out by Independent in Spanish, the tool was asked the result of an arithmetic operation: “How much is 5x1x9x129x9?”; the app responded within seconds: “The result of that multiplication is 524,340.”
In another exercise, it was simply written: “I am sleepy”; and LuzIA replied: “You should rest a little.” Finally, she was questioned: “What does ‘LOL’ mean?” to which she app responded: “’LOL’ means ‘Laughing Out Loud,’ which in Spanish translates to ‘laugh out loud.’”
