Former CM of Uttar Pradesh and Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav announced from the Haryana Jansevak Party (HJP) platform in Jind on Sunday that after the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, caste-based census will be conducted in the entire country on the lines of Bihar. On the basis of this, those castes who are still deprived of it will also get their rights. He said that reservation according to population has become the need of the hour today. Describing Haryana Jansevak Party of independent MLA Balraj Kundu of Meham as a big political option in the state, Akhilesh said that the socialists will have full support. While targeting Congress, BJP and JJP, Kundu said that today Haryana is number one in unemployment and hooliganism. He said, ‘Corruption was rampant in the state during the 10 years of Congress rule. BJP has left Congress behind in corruption during its 9 years of rule. Attacking Deputy CM Dushyant Chautala, Kundu said that he is busy looting the state.
Addressing the crowd gathered at HJP’s Jan Seva Sankalp rally at Jind’s Eklavya Stadium, Akhilesh said that as soon as the ‘India’ coalition government is formed at the Center in 2024, the Agniveer recruitment system in the army will be abolished and recruitment will be done as per the old policy. Referring to Haryana Jansevak Party, Akhilesh said, ‘Balraj Kundu has presented a very strong option before the people of the state. If the people of the state make Balraj Kundu the CM, he will serve the public even more. When new people come forward, they will bring new thinking. The new party will take the politics of the state in a new direction.
‘We will give opportunity to those who serve the public’
Rally organizer Haryana Jansevak Party convenor Balraj Kundu said that he has formed a new party to bring change in the state. He will give opportunity to those who serve the public and fight for the farmers in his party. He said that if the people of the state give his party a chance, they will fill all the vacant government posts within 6 months. Skill development center will be built in every block. Loans ranging from Rs 10 lakh to Rs 5 crore will be given to the unemployed without interest. Farmers will be given a subsidy of Rs 200 per bag on DAP fertilizer. Former Rewari MLA Raghu Yadav, Principal General Secretary of Rashtriya Lok Dal from Uttar Pradesh, Leader of Opposition in Uttar Pradesh Legislative Council Sanjay Lather, National President of Haryana Jansevak Party Paramjit Kundu also addressed the people in the rally.
Vaghela’s attack on the center
From the rally stage, former Gujarat CM Shankar Singh Vaghela attacked the Modi government at the Center and said that constitutional institutions like the judiciary and the Election Commission are being suppressed. He said, ‘Whoever opposes the Centre, ED, CBI and Income Tax Department are put behind him.’ Vaghela claimed that the 2024 Lok Sabha elections are being held between ‘India’ versus NDA.
