Cindy González Murillo, Secretary of Labor in Durango, reported that there are 600 minors between the ages of 15 and 17 who have permission to work in the entity, so that they have this protection in the event of an incident, so that this unit can act on behalf of the minor.
I consider that the number of requests for authorization to work by minors could increase and indicated that the process is very simple, since they only have to go to the Ministry of Labor together with their father or mother and present the birth certificate, Unique Population Registry Code (CURP) and the adult’s identification.
“Telling the families that we process the permit for them is very simple,” he commented, “also telling the companies that do not contract minors that they do not bring their permit properly through the Secretariat, they will help us a lot if they themselves They reject them and send them to process their permit, we are going to do things well and we are going to prevent a minor from having any complications”.
The official considered that sometimes there are situations that surpass the family and that is why minors seek employment.
