A woman found her husband dead in the municipality of Tlahualilo, Durango, in the Lucero ejido. The deceased is identified as Diego Armando, 43 years old.
The incident occurred during the early hours of Saturday, September 16, around 1:33 a.m.
According to what was announced, the now deceased was with his wife at a dance held in the Lucero ejido, where they celebrated and drank alcohol. At a certain point and over drinks, they began to argue about personal problems after an alleged infidelity on the part of the man. After the argument, Diego left the dance heading to his house.
Minutes after the dispute, the woman went to look for him and, when she arrived, she found him on the branch of a lilac tree. She immediately ran to try to help him and requested the presence of one of her brothers-in-law, after giving her first aid and seeing that she was not responding, they asked the emergency line for help, 911; However, given the wait, they chose to transfer Diego in a private vehicle to the emergency area of ​​the Gómez Palacio General Hospital. The man arrived without vital signs at the medical institution.
The medical staff was responsible for notifying the security authorities about the incident. The preventive personnel of the Municipal and State Police attended the hospital, as well as the agent of the Public Ministry of the Homicide unit, also personnel of the Expert Services unit and elements of the Crime Investigative Police of the Laguna Region Vice Prosecutor’s Office.
Finally, the body was transferred to the facilities of the Forensic Medical Service (Semefo) to perform the required autopsy, with which the formal cause of death will be determined; After that, the body will be handed over to relatives for funeral services. The line that the authority follows as a line of investigation is a death by suicide.
