Shimla, 16 September (HP)
In Himachal Pradesh Assembly, MLAs raise important issues under Point of Order, but a separate zero hour arrangement can also be made for them. Talks are going on with the government regarding this matter. A decision on this will be taken soon. State Assembly Speaker Kuldeep Singh Pathania said in a press conference in Shimla today that a separate time can be set for zero hour, but the MLAs will have to see that instead of making speeches, they raise important issues only.
Pathania said that there has been no correspondence with the Assembly regarding the notice from the State High Court to the Chief Parliamentary Secretaries. The matter is in the court and it will take the decision. When he gets something in writing, he will look at it under the rules. At present they have no information about it.
